BIOGAS
Biowaste to Energy
Organic waste refers to biodegradable materials that decompose easily. Its scope is very broad, encompassing not only food waste but also waste generated from households and restaurants, organic by-products from food processing plants, and even animal manure.
Traditionally, such waste has been primarily utilized through composting or as animal feed. However, growing attention is now being paid to the potential for resource circulation through more diverse and advanced methods.
Beyond compost and feed, organic waste can be converted into thermal energy, electricity, and biomethane. In this way, what we commonly recognize as food waste can be transformed into a wide range of valuable resources. More recently, methods for producing hydrogen using biomethane have also gained increasing attention. Against this backdrop, we are focusing on the biogas production process, which enables energy generation through the reprocessing of organic waste.
